Heavy rotation

This has been getting heavy rotation time on my record player lately. It's 29 by Ryan Adams and what a beautiful album it is. It is just so personal and heartfelt, kind of sad for it, but I like music that is written from the heart. Perhaps one of the most personal albums I have heard, I guess it can be kind of difficult to record and release music like this because it cuts right through to the musicians life. I like such honesty, it's what I did when I wrote poetry, it wasn't pretty but it was honest and heartfelt. It makes a connection, it tells a story, it is more than the music itself.
My favourite track is Starlite Diner with the lyric:

"Have you ever slept it off to the bones, have you?
and woken up at night my love
having dreamt you called them all
every person you could never love"

Just heartbreaking and beautiful. Do yourself a favour and go and buy this record along with everything else by Ryan Adams.
